Well, I was able to make a bunch of runs so I thought I'd show you guys my very first two runs and then my best run.

My first two runs. I got to take out a Dodge Stealth twin turbo in the second run.
My car is number 3979 (left lane in first run, right lane in the second)

My best run of the day:

I know my reaction times are pathetic but I'll get better with practice.

I know my car is capable of 13's once I learn to drive. I'm still getting a crazy amount of wheel spin as well as a lot of wheel hop on the 1-2 shift.

Keep in mind that these runs were on my nitto 450's (205/55-15's)- I wonder if my 1.8% larger overall diameter is hurting my 1/4 time?

Man that's great! I wish I could have seen the crowds faces when you took out the TT. I can't wait till next week here. A big group of Import guys are all going out to the drags and there are a few NOS cars another JRSC Civic and two hybrids, one Del w/ a B18C1 and NOS and another Del with a H22A & possibly NOS (If they get it ported by Fri smile) I think I we are going to let the N/A Civic's go first and then surprise the Sh*t out of the Hicks (this is nebraska remember) with the hybrids, NOS, and of course ME wink Well good job and keep practiceing cause I know that there isn't only one car that can pull 13.6's with the 6psi kit wink

Given your 60' time, I bet you can do 13s on street tires too. Those are some fucking good runs with those 60's dude.

Good job beating the Stealth...regarding the wheel hop, what pressure are you running with your front tires? What kind of surface...I think a big part of those times came from the fact that the weather in this part of the country was great for the sc...I have a question for you, do you notice a tremendous difference when the high is around 50, like yesterday? I mean, compared to 70? When the weather is cool, there seems to be a night and day difference in performance...Also, which is better for the track, cool weather or warm. I ask because the engine responds so much better with cool weather, but traction is better with warm, right? So ultimately, what are the ideal conditions?

My car doesn't feel that different when the temp is 70 vs. 50. I'm probably not going as fast when it's 70 out but I can't feel it. Yesterday (at the track) had a high of 60 but I was also fighting a headwind. One of the reasons I think I'm faster than 14.1 is that many of the cars that were running 13.5's on my previous trip to the track (when I just watched- 80 deg weather) were running consistantly 13.8's yesterday. I talked to those guys and they were pretty pissed because they didn't change anything on their cars. The wind was pretty bad.

I'm hoping that new shocks with the rears set firmer than the front, and my new stickier tires will help my times quite a bit.

By the way, I set the front tires to 20psi with the rears at stock pressure (31psi).

uh not with those 60 foot times...... I get 2.2 60 foot times on 17s and i only ran a 15.0...... on 14's i get a 2.1 and run a 14.6.... You cant really judge by the 60 foot times what 1/4 miles you shoud be running....

I have the same brand & size wheel and tires. (15" Nitto 450) My best 60ft time was 2.3813

Even if I doubled my Hp I don't think these tires would deliver much more. (well maybe with some suspension changes -- but not with different take-offs, or whatever)
